Fresh water is a limited resource, and how we wash our cars matters.

Washing a car at home can use more than 100 gallons of fresh water, much of which becomes runoff. That runoff often carries oils, road film, brake dust, and other contaminants directly into storm drains and local waterways.

Breeze Thru uses a different approach — one designed to reduce water waste and limit environmental impact.

Designed With the Environment in Mind

Our car wash systems are built to conserve water while still delivering a consistent, effective clean. Instead of relying solely on fresh water for every wash, we use a combination of fresh water and reclaim (also known as water recycling) to significantly reduce overall consumption.

This approach allows us to reuse water safely and responsibly while keeping harmful pollutants out of the environment.

How Water Reclaim / Recycling Works

After a wash, used water is collected and routed through an underground treatment system.

Settling Tanks
Water first flows into settling tanks, where heavier sediments — like sand and grit — naturally sink to the bottom and are removed.

Fine Filtration
The water is then filtered to remove much smaller particles, down to around 5 microns. For comparison, a human hair is about 50 microns wide.

Clean, Reusable Water
Reclaim‑compatible chemistry helps keep the recycled water cleaner and more stable, making it easier to reuse safely throughout the wash process.

Once treated, the clean and reusable water is drawn back into the system and used for rinsing and select wash applications.

Why Chemistry Matters

Not all wash chemistry is compatible with water recycling.

Some products can cause buildup, foul odors, or bacterial growth inside reclaim systems. Our wash chemistry is engineered to work together throughout the washing and finishing process, helping keep recycled water cleaner and equipment running efficiently.
